The month of May

The month of May has gone by so fast I cannot believe it.
Maybe because it has been very busy it just seems to go by fast.
Five days were spent in classes. Time well spent on interesting material to learn. Fun field trips with friends in the gem and mineral society, fun if you like looking for pretty rocks, was where some more of the time was spent. Silversmithing and beading and bicycling, caring for my horses, dogs, cats, birds, plants, and time spent with family and friends. Oh yes, and time spent at work. By the time I add in time spent grocery shopping, housework and travel time to do many of the things listed. I know I have forgotten to list something. Time to write in my blog has been very scarce. I wonder if next month will be better.

Next Class

I'm here at PLAN this morning for the Server 2003 class.
This is something I have been looking forward to.
There is a lot I need to learn about working with our server at the library.

My first blog post

This is my first try to set up and begin blogging.
It is part of the 23 things to do in navigating new technologies.
Thanks to the people at PLAN we are encouraged to reach out and try some new things.
Trying new things in technology sounds interesting to me as long as it doesn't get expensive.
Many of the new technology toys are just too expensive for my tiny budget.
Still I am interested in learning about new things.
